IĞDIR, Türkiye — New tourism initiatives in Iğdır are expected to contribute to the development of the province’s tourism sector and increase the visibility of its natural and cultural attractions.
One of the projects focuses on the Tuzluca Salt Caves, one of the region’s notable natural formations. Plans to introduce modern video mapping technology to the caves aim to create a more engaging experience for visitors while highlighting the geological and cultural characteristics of the area.
The project is also expected to support the transformation of the salt caves into a stronger tourism destination. Interactive visual presentations could provide visitors with information about the formation of the caves and the historical importance of salt production in the region.
